antti Posted January 23, 2010 Share Posted January 23, 2010 First I was after Ampeg 410HLF for cab but then my buddy found Trace Elliot 1015H cab. Wow, they work so well together. Those 2x10" and one 15" gives lot of highs and LOW*S. First I was little afraid, if it is "made in Vietnam"-model. I have heard some bad news about those amps. Luckily it was made in Korea and the quality is very good. Actually this Ampeg is my first tube-amp and with this cab I can have very modern and very "vintage" sound. basshead56 Posted January 23, 2010 Share Posted January 23, 2010 That´s weird man!!! I was in a pub in Cork last night and the band´s bass player had a similar set up. It was an SVT-CL with Trace Elliot 2x10 & 4x10 cabs. He aslo used a PJ BassBuddy. Bass-wise he was using a Tokai Rickenfaker and the whole thing sounded amazing. Their bass player has that SVT-VR (or so) and 410HLF. I can tell my rig sounds much stronger and clearer. This TE is one bloode high quality cab for sure.
