Finally decided to go for something slightly different - the Ashdown Bass Sub-Octave Plus - and then Rumple sticks the Octabass back up! You can guess where this is going... Basically I need to shift this, as I prefer the EBS. It cost £39.99 + shipping and is about a month old. It's been gigged once so is in perfect condition and I've still got the box as shown: [attachment=37511:01122009079.JPG] Basic spec: this does an octave down, plus that down octave with distortion as an extra option. Sounds great, I just prefer the cleaner EBS (though I admit I bought this as I thought the dirtier Ashdown sound might suit). It seems happier with passive basses, though there is a mod you can do to match active impedances better - search the relevant pages if you so desire SOLD PENDING PAYMENT, VIA FLEABAY Ta!
