Jobiebass Posted October 2, 2009 Share Posted October 2, 2009 Sorry if this is the wrong forum, please feel free to move it mods. I got given this from Eude when I bought his shuker. It originally had an EMG pre but then was replaced with a ACG pre. I really dont have a clue how electronics work but I was pretty sure the pre's have those green chip board things with them. What do I have here? do I have an EMG pre or do I just have 3 pots + knobs? says 15a25k 0614q on one, 15a25k 0608q on the other 2 pots. was thinking about selling it cause I have no use for it, but its kinda hard to list something I know nothing about. JimBobTTD Posted October 2, 2009 Share Posted October 2, 2009 (edited) Yup - a circuit board with the preamp on it attached to at least on of the pots, different wiring and so on. What that looks like to me is two volumes and a master tone. Ie something that looks like this: which is an EMG pre.
