franzbassist Posted September 18, 2009 Share Posted September 18, 2009 (edited) Having just picked up a piccolo bass that was strung ADGC, I need to open the nut slots up a bit more to accommodate EADG. I don't really want to buy a set for a one off job, and taking them to a repair shot will cost almost as much. I'm thinking of just using needle files to do the job, but if anyone NE Hampshire or Central London can lend me a set that'd be grand. I only need .037 .041 and .045. The fourth slot is fine as is.
