I'm in general after a four string Jazz bass as I want at least one "regular" instrument. And I prefer the jazz tone to the precision tone and the musicman tone. However, I love the sound of the Eastwood Classic 4 as per this youtube video. Particularly the neck pickup alone sound. However, I don't have a car, and that funny little blue bus that goes from Leicester to Rugby takes over an hour each way. Edit: De-crypticisation: I'd like to hear a recording of the bass if you think similar sounds to the Eastwood can be obtained. I can pick it up. Though I would have to wait for an appropriate day, and would like to know if your normal travels bring you closer to Leicester.
