Verbally valued at £800 by [url="http://www.timtoftviolins.com/"]Tim Toft Violins[/url] The good stuff - c1920s, Bohemian, set up for Jazz, with pickup. Ply back. Very resonant sound. With case and Chinese-made German style bow. The not-so-good - Tim advised replacing the bridge as soon as possible, and strengthening the head as this appears to be a weakspot. There also seems to be a sympathetic buzz on the pickup when the A string is played - I don't know anything about pickups so I cannot say for sure but it may just be that it's not in the right position. The case has stitching coming off the main strap. As you can tell from the pics it's seen some life and is in a 'cosmetically challenged' state with plenty of scratches. I took up DB a year ago, and just don't have the practice time to play the thing properly. £800 o.n.o. I'm in South Cheshire.
