    my spare double is a 3/4 5 string fully carved Gedo (currently high C), you are welcome to borrow it on a long term basis to see how well you get on with an upright etc the only issue is getting her to you, I am up in north Wales

    I have a gedo fully carved five string with high C, the neck is not chunky (despite being 6ft I have tiny hands and struggle on six string basses but this is fine) the G string was hard to bow but my local string luthier did an excellent job on reshaping the bridge and now it bows fine, I mainly use it for jazz and having the high C helps so much especially with my aforementioned little hands. Gedo dont currently have any five strings in stock.

    if she is like all the over strunal Bass`s I have seen I think the 5/8we refers to the model and finish and the 3/4 is the size, either way she looks like a lovely bass, GLWTS
