RussFM Posted September 9, 2009 Share Posted September 9, 2009 (edited) I used to have a Spector Legend. Sold it to buy a Fender, and always regretted getting rid of it. So I bought one on eBay, which turned out to be a Q4 Pro. Not a big problem, still a great bass and I much prefer the Q4's preamp (an EMG BTS?) to the TonePump Jr. I'm now considering buying a Legend (who doesn't love that curved Spector body!?), and swapping the preamps to give me my ideal budget Spector! I'm assuming the Q4 - EMG-HZs into EMG BTS - uses the EMG connectors? So how are the Legend pickups connected to the TonePump Jr? Do they also use the EMG connectors, or are they soldered? Never done any soldering (and unlikely to again, so not worth buying any equipment!), so just wondering how easy it would be to do.
