woolz Posted August 26, 2009 Share Posted August 26, 2009 ok i have a powerbank which runs all my pedals. bought the mxr blowtourch this week. been running it through the powerbank. then today realised it needs an 18v power supply. ?? why does it need this? my current one seemed to run it fine! Silent Fly Posted August 26, 2009 Share Posted August 26, 2009 The BT needs 18V for its circuits. I guess for more headroom. I while ago I contacted MXR and I asked if the BT can run at 9V.
