I nearly gave up the guitar completely to focus on bass, but didn't. I'm now looking to get back into playing in bands (after a good few years off). I still have my treasured first bass, an Ibanez Precision clone (with PJ pickups). She's a year older than I am, and I picked her up in Rockbottom in Croydon in 1992 for £70, if I remember correctly.
