An impending Japanese P bass delivery prompts this sale. This is an SX/Noname '62 Sunburst / Tortoise / Rosewood Precision copy Here's some blurb which I have plagiarized mercilessly from Beerdragon, and Bassbunny who built it. The scratchplate has been foil backed. It's eerily quiet for a P bass The basswood (I assume) body is unmarked and has a fine sunburst and deep gloss finish. Pickup is a Wizard Thumper with CTS Pots, Switchcraft Jack and Sprague capacitor. All wiring is in vintage cloth covered wire and the pot/capacitor values were decided upon after a chat with Andy at Wizard pickups. The bridge has been replaced with a Wilkinson Vintage bridge with Brass Saddles. New string tree and Fecker transfer, (lacquered over) it has a really nice neck, plays and sounds just great, fools the unknowing and gives the knowledgeable a laugh. It has Glowdotz side markers ('cos I just can't see those tiddly things Fender and SX use ) They are white but will glow in the dark if you shine a light on them first It's got new Trace Elliot light gauge strings with lovely green cotton windings, not shown in the pics. I'd like the £150 I paid for it (plus postage) with a tatty but functional gig bag but without the cat. PX of a Dunlop 105Q Bass Wah is possible. [url="http://www.fretlord.com/glowdotz.htm"]http://www.fretlord.com/glowdotz.htm[/url] When you order remember to "buy" the international delivery add-on to the order. Otherwise you'll think you've ordered but he'll send you an additional paypal request .. trouble is he doesn't notice for a while so your delivery is delayed You get a strip with large (front) and small (side) circles. They don't really glow for vey long in total darkness but they are the best stick-on option I've found since Letraset stopped selling 3mm white dots ...
