Markbass LM4 advice please...

When using the DI out on my LM4 can anyone advice me what to do with the 'Line Out' control on the front panel?

 

I've not had this head for long and don't recall previous amps having this control so I don't know how high or low to set it.

 

At last night's gig I left it set at 12 o'clock and there were no complaints...

I also leave the line out at about 12 o'clock - whoever is doing the PA will set the levels accordingly. Perhaps the more important setting to you is on the back of the amplifier - the Pre/Post control for the EQ will flavour what you send out to the PA - depends on if you want to send out a flat or eq'd signal.

It’s kind of up to the FOH guy. Usually as high as you can get it without overloading the PA desk. Once you’ve run your DI cable to the PA get whoever is on the faders to tell you if they want more or less.
