I can’t quite believe I’m doing this, but needs must so here we go. Only selling as a nasty bill has arrived and I need to get the money from somewhere. Spector USA NS5 XL.

 

Absolutely beautiful bass, the photos don’t do it justice, plays like a dream, gorgeous slim neck and unbelievably versatile. One tiny chip on the back curve of the body near to the output jack that I’ve tried to capture by pointing at it in the photos, otherwise immaculate. To have one of these built to this spec comes in somewhere between £6000 and £6500 and has a 6-12 month build time. Build details below.

 

Construction.

 

Neck: Three piece rock maple, graphite reinforced neck thru.

 

Finger board: Ebony.

 

Nut: Solid brass.

 

Number of frets: 24.

 

Scale length: 35”.

 

Inlays: Spector crown mother of pearl.

 

String spacing at bridge: 0.66” (16.7mm).

 

Back: Redwood.

 

Top: Spalted maple.

 

Finish: Natural high gloss.

Tuners: Gotoh 350 Res-O-Lite.

 

Bridge: Spector aluminium adjustable.

Collection preferred, I live approximately 15 minutes from junctions 14 and 15 of the M1. I will ship however if the buyer wishes to arrange their own courier. The bass has its own flight case and I would pack that in cardboard as well.

 

Please note, I took the photos myself and I am blind. I’ve tried to capture the bass as best I can so please bare that in mind whilst viewing them.
