That's what I was reading too. Fred and some of the other guys from Peavey are regulars over there and actually did quite a bit of Q&A with Trace enthusiasts while they were developing the TE-1200.

 

I think an 800W version of the head is the sweet spot - sell it for under a grand, then make some cabs that you don't need an enormous car and roadies to move around, and they'll shift a lot more of them. Assuming they can sort their distribution out, obviously...
