Having a bit of a clear out so up for sale here is my Gretsch 1883 Banjo. I got this about 10 years ago and learnt a few tricks but never really got the hang of it, time for someone else to have a go. Hasn't left the house, so is in fantastic condition - would probably benefit from a new set of strings though. I've got some books that I used to learn what little I know - will include these in the deal.

I don't have a case for this so collection/meet-up is the only option. I live in Nottingham but happy to travel an hour or two if that helps.

So, open G, with re-entrant tuning (high G, like a ukulele), three strings tuned D G B (like a guitar).

Anyone who has fingerpicked a guitar will be able to find their way around this instrument.
