I started playing double bass in a jazz band then realised it’s not music I enjoy playing much or listening to. Perhaps this is heretical, but it was soullessly virtuosic. (Not all jazz is this, of course, and I still love to hear genuine innovators, I’m just not ever going to play Autumn Leaves badly again.)

 

Anyway, that explains why these books are for sale.
