Ok...so I've had a LOT of interest in this bass....unfortunately for me, of the half-dozen serious offers I have had, NONE were from anyone in the UK!! 😞

 

So I've been looking into international shipping, and basically, including insurance and the actual cost of the packaging itself, shipping to the USA will be £500.

You'll need to pay your local taxes on top of that of course (as we in the UK have to!), so this bass is not going to be cheap!

 

However, there are only 25 of these, and none of them will be in better condition.

This is a chance in a lifetime opportunity to acquire a special 4003. If you missed the boat in 2017, don't make the same mistake again!

 

Last time, there were 25....this time: there's just the ONE!

 

Ideally, I'd love for someone in the UK to simply turn up, look at the bass, pay the money, and drive off into the sunset....just like it was "back in the day".

These play amazingly well and of course have the push-pull vintage circuit too, if thats your thang.

...and I have one of the other xxxx 4005XC's ...but mine is Jetglo.....also a lovely instrument!

 

I've always wondered how many they ended up making....?
