Owing to a change in working circumstances I am looking to sell 2 of my three basses although I will be listing all three. This is the second listing for my very recently purchased Duesenberg Alliance Dave Landreth Signature bass. This is probably the coolest bass I have ever owned. It arrived  fitted with round wound strings which have been swapped out for a set of lovely Pyramid flats which deliver a wonderful old school vintage tone. The string height  sits at a medium level and in my opinion suits a bass of this type allowing the bass notes to bloom fully. Whilst it’s a bass that you can play fast lines on, it’s more suited to a relaxed and grooving style where it really comes into its own.  Think of Rob Mullarkey in Zero 7 (he played A Duesenberg Starplayer bass on some tracks which the Dave Landreth model stems from). 
 

The bass comes with a top class fitted case and the appropriate tools, certificate of authenticity etc. Here’s the spec, 

RRP for these basses is in the region of £2600. It goes without saying that my instrument is almost indistinguishable from new. Buyer can arrange their own carrier although I do advise that the bass is collected or handed over at a suitable meeting point.
