ToneX One question about FX levels.

Im thinking about getting the above, mainly as a Phaser and OD (not at the same time).

I can see the poser has 4 controls, one being level. Can anyone tell me if this is a volume level or something else?

Ive been using a Blood Moon phaser after (or before) my EBS MB3, but there is always a volume jump when I engage it. I was hoping the ToneX would allow me to balance this. 

I was going to use, or get a Zoom pedal which i know can do this,  but quite fancy thing something new.

As far as I’m aware, the current crop of capturing pedals can only capture clean or driven sounds. They can’t capture reverbs, delays or modulation sounds.
Reading your post it seems to me you think you can capture a phaser sound to save on the Tonex. I’m pretty sure you won’t be able to do that. 
Can anyone else confirm what I’m thinking to be true?

Im just asking if i can turn the phaser block down so when it’s engaged i dont get a noticeable volume boost. 
i now know you cant.
