Hey guys My pbass is up for grabs Fender Fotoflame Precision Bass, made in Japan with Nordstrand pickup, fender flats.
Ultra low action with no buzz/dead spot.

I’ve never seen this bass before. What’s the body? Alder with some kind of quilted top?

I’ll chime in on that as I’ve had one since the mid-90s. It’s a photographic film (hence Foto Flame) that was applied onto a (typically) Alder body. They weren’t around for long as the finishes often cracked, as mine did. 
 

I think I’m right in saying that, in terms of spec, they were a ‘62 reissue. 
 

Apols for geeking out, but I always get excited when I see a Foto Flame Precision. They’re not widely loved it seems, but I’ve found mine to be my favourite Precision I’ve ever played. It’s certainly the only bass I’ve ever kept for that length of time.
