I've got no interest in fretless (believe me, I've tried!), but this just looks - and no doubt, sounds - like an honest-to-goodness straightforward bass with no frills, just quality all round.

The crazy thing is that it plays & sounds at least ‘as good’ as a custom jobbie Rob made for me around ten years ago at over five times the price! & being very ‘Old School’ - I actually prefer the dry woody sound of this one + wang the bridge pickup wide open & we’re in Jaco territory - the sound that is, definitely not my playing😂😂🙈🙈👍…
