Pow_22 Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago (edited) So, only one can stay. Let the geeky day of A/Bing commence! So far its clear the ABM is a more versatile amp, it also gets dirtier but the core sound of the Spyder is absolutely brilliant. It almost sounds more like....dont know....bigger and more 3D? BassAdder60 Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago I think the ABM series sound at their best when played loud and you have sussed the “ shape “ button Still great amps Quote
Pow_22 Posted 2 hours ago Author Posted 2 hours ago If the spyder could produce more grit it would be the clear winner and my perfect amp. Even with gain dimed it is still pretty much clean, slight hair to notes but nothing too gritty. The next rabbit hole would different valves help? For now, with the need for grit, the ABM is staying but maaaan, the spyder sounds REALLy good Quote
