MTD Kingston Andrew Gouche 5 (AG5).

 

£1050  £980 (they are £1,900 new and quite rare in the UK)

 

Good condition, plays well, not much wear on the frets and can get a nice low action. A real highlight is the asymmetrical neck - it's really comfortable. Well balanced and quite lightweight for a 5 string. Sounds good and is a beautiful looking bass with the matching body/fretboard/headstock.

 

Some small cosmetic signs of use:  A few chips to the bodywork I've tried to show on the photos and a small shallow dent on the neck that doesn't show up on photos. The smoked chrome hardware has some signs of age where it has lost its shine.

 

- 35" scale.

- Less than 4.1kg (my luggage scales tend to show it as 4.05kg).

- Strung with NYXL a couple of months ago.

- Hipshot ultralight tuners.

The only things I'm after are quite niche: Dingwall SP1, or an Ibanez EHB MS. Basically 5 string, multiscale, lightweight.

I've got a gig bag that can be included for free and have a guitar inner cardboard box that's a bit short but could then be put within the bigger Andertons cardboard box and with padding.

Reduced to £980

 

(and top insider tip: shops have offered £1,000 part exchange, I'm just not in the market for anything new so need the £ instead). The going rate is more like £1,300 2nd hand from a shop.

I'm very interested in this bass and live in Bognor. Unfortunately due to recent car problems I havnt got enough cash.

 

Don't suppose you are interested in a gallien krueger mb500 head and or phill jones bass c4 cab? I also have an aguilar octamiser. There would also be some cash your way.
