Telemonco Posted June 5 Posted June 5 Hi there. Perhaps somebody can help me with this … I got these bass tuners for my project but need the bushings. I’ve searched the web but cannot find any push-fit bushings that would work. They appear to be an odd size - 10mm shaft diameter and the peg hole is 12mm (Bronco neck). Any ideas or signposting is much appreciated. Thank you. Phil Quote
mcnach Posted June 17 Posted June 17 The way I've dealt with a tuner made for a narrower hole than what I've got was by wrapping a few turns of masking tape around the tuner bit. Just until it fits snugly. The screws will ensure it stays solid. It's been ok for quite a few years now. Quote
stevel Posted June 17 Posted June 17 Someone with a lathe could easily make up some bushings to fit - wouldn't take long. Quote
BlueMoon Posted June 18 Posted June 18 If you do not have access to above solutions, an aluminium soda pop can is a possible substitute. Cut some strips and use in an emergency. Quote
