The Barbanera is indeed a fantastic filter. I had both the Barbanera and a Moog MF-101 at the same time.
 

In a side-by-side comparison, they sounded identical but the Barbanera can do more. Kept the Barbernera and sold the Moog!

Only thing that’s different is the fast/slow envelope option on the Moog.

The newer versions of the Barbernera have the fast/slow switch as an internal switch. I never found much use for the fast switch on bass 😬
