Clarky Posted June 7, 2009 Share Posted June 7, 2009 (edited) Continuing the clearing out of the attic, I am selling a Gibson Explorer Studio which I bought new from Tin Pan Alley in 2005 (the Studio model is no longer made by Gibson and had a downsized body to reduce weight and bulkiness). My guitar came with a natural swamp ash body which I had custom sprayed with a gloss black front and matt black sides and back, thinking I could be the next Hetfield and add rhythm guitar to my bass-playing 'skills'. Of course I wasn't and moved back to full-time playing bass instead! Not getting used so up for sale. No chips or dings whatsoever, only a minor surface scratch on the lower side near the jack plate. Overall very good condition. Comes with heavy black Gibson USA tolex case which is in 9/10 condition.
