As someone who likes/needs lightweight basses, this is very tempting. Also, solidarity regarding the shoulder. I've been rehabbing an AC shoulder joint separation for years now, sucks!!

Sorry to hear about your shoulder problems. It just seems that once they are damaged they never get back to how they were.

I bought the bass new in 2018 and had the body chambered to help with the weight due to my back problems but since then I ruptured my shoulder in a fall and had to have a reverse shoulder replacement. It makes playing 34" scale basses very difficult and painful.

However this bass is a beautiful instrument and deserves to be played.

Succumb to temptation!

Hello Peter. Just to let you know, it seems the link to Dan's review no longer works.

Best

I picked up a progress IV 5 here in Norway and watched Dans review several time just a few weeks ago.. I tried to watch again last week and it was removed for breaching community guidelines.. wtf?

I have edited the post to reflect that. Thanks

Huge apologies, I hadn't spotted these comments re: my review video. Sorry it has messed with your for sale advert. Long story short, some oik hacked the magazine YouTube channel and deleted all of our videos and replaced them with clickbait spam. It took a huge amount of effort trying to make Youtube believe that the magazine owned the channel - despite all of our faces being in every video that was actually on the channel! DOH! Anyway, we've got the channel back and the review in question is live again. I'm waiting for my Overwater Elite review to go live soon too, I'll post here on BC too.

For now, here's the review in question. If the two I have reviewed are anything to go by, Peter's bass is without a  shadow of a doubt top-tier. I'd have one (it) myself, if I could!
