NoLogic69 Posted May 24, 2009 Share Posted May 24, 2009 Hi There, Just managed to secure myself a used VT1-EQ Bass driver from this site. Haven't got my hands on it yet, but in anticipation, was wondering what is the best way to use it? I will be running it through my LM II. My thinking is to run it into the FX return and miss out the LM II pre-amp altogether. I'm not looking to overdrive my sound to any real degree, just looking to fatten it up and get some valve warmth. I've already ordered a Mullard ECC81 to replace the standard ECC83 as I know this will reduce the gain and hopefully make things even smoother and warmer. Am I heading in the right direction?
