TheGreek Posted June 21, 2024 Posted June 21, 2024 For some reason the search facility can't find Tom's feedback - I'm sure I've seen one for him, so is he...The mods have suggested that I start a new one which can be merged when the "real one" turns up. Anyway...Tom had a Yamaha BBG5 with a troublesome neck - maxed out truss rod - fortunately I had a brand new "spare" for said bass. Seemed silly not to take the bass off his hands. Following negotiations bass found its way to me where I duly assembled the parts provided only to find the neck I had was without a nut.....now on order with Black Dog instrument parts. Tom, proper gent, kept me apprised at each development - packing, posting and the tracking info. No hesitation trading with him again - you shouldn't either... TOP BCer!! Quote
