Is this the Reverb, a.k.a Sound Control, a.k.a Academy of Sound Reverb?
I never did like going there...next to no basses and the staff....Hmmm....
When you ask for some Elite Stadiums and they don't think they got them for you to point out they are right behind them...Well they are either really thick or can't be bothered to serve you.

Hell, they DID drive me to buy strings from StringsDirect though. :)

Yeah.
That one went down the pan. Reverb bought the dying co, chopped a lot out and kept a few stores open.
They seem to be trying harder.
Rumours of their immenent collapse whiz round now and then..

However this is and online deal so no staff to confuse ... Well not face to face anyway...

they have ran this promotion every month for the past few months (usually the first weekend) and there certainly seems bargains there but when I went to buy a white jazz 62RI for £900 less another 10% it didnt exist!!

cant complain tho, in the dying throes of sound control they sold me a new Warwick Dolphin NT (with full flightcase) for £999.

Hi there, looked at what I think was one of these in Guitar Guitar in Edinburgh.. are these the MZ ie Mexican series? i looked at a distressed Salmon Pink Jazz...If so can't see paying nearly a grand for a Mexican Fender to get £300 back if it doesn't work out.. I got my USA '75 reissue Jazz six weeks old for that..

Still can't believe the price of these 'Road Worns' - Thinking about it, a Mexican Standard Jazz bass & a top of range Bosch electric sander would still be less money! I'm sure the DIY version would be so much more fun.

Or you can buy an American Standard for similar money and do it the old fashioned way... Gig the bass for 30 years!
