I have the same bass, it's pretty much the same as a US Stingray 5 in my experience.
Mine compares extremely well to my US Stingray Classic..! 
This price is a steal! GLWTS!

It's an extremely powerful and versatile bass, you're right it definitely compares well to the StingRay! Big fan of the MusicMan bass sound.
