Born 2B Mild Posted May 12, 2009 Share Posted May 12, 2009 (edited) Currently gracing my 25 year old feckless Fender Jazz which doesn't get much of a look in these days since I discovered the joys of six & five string basses. The Jazz used to be Richard Sinclair's (I added the Retro) and I hope never have to sell it. This pre-amp [u]completely [/u]changed the sound of the bass, especially in the mids & mwah department. Although it's the standard chrome 3-stacked knob unit (New= £195), all told, there's 9 knobs/selectors, so you can imagine the tone range possible. I'm GASing for a 1x12 or 2x12 8ohm [i]lightweight [/i]cab and am struggling for gear funds at the mo, as I'm about to acquire a new sixer. Hence a trade would be ideal.
