Nord Electro 4D Keyboard & Nord Case

Excellent condition has some minor scuffs and marks to the case but fully functional and sounds great! This is the version with the waterfall keyboard.

Selling as I’m moving house and this isn’t being used much.

Pickup preferred but I can post in the UK at buyer’s cost.

No trades.

Very long description from Nord below.

The Electro 4D possesses one setup of physical drawbars of the same type as on Nord's flagship organ, the Nord C2D, which is great for actively shaping the sound on the fly. The organ can be split, for compact dual manual action. You can also assign the lower manual to a second MIDI keyboard if you wish. The Electro 4D naturally has inputs for a Swell pedal and for controlling the Rotary Speaker.

This keyboard boasts a B3 tone wheel organ engine from the Nord C2D and a redesigned Key Click simulation as well as the Rotary Speaker simulation of a vintage 122 unit with a great new overdrive. Also improved is the percussion model, giving increased control over the percussion levels when playing near-legato. The vibrato and chorus scanners have been carefully modeled to be just as alive as the tone wheels.

Farfisa and Vox Models

The Electro 4D boasts Farfisa and Vox models which are just as impressive as the B3. They simulate the behaviour and unique response of the original instruments. The famous Farfisa Compact Deluxe involves routing matrixes and complex filter combinations that give a tailored sound with massive energy and high-end.

The Vox Continental features a brute design that gives a more hollow tone, but with a very intense character. Both these transistor organs have their own unique personalities. You can combine them with any of the Amp simulations, add some distortion, adjust the EQ and have a gig-ready sound.

Explore the Nord Piano Library

The Nord Electro 4D comes loaded with sounds from the Nord Piano Library - Nord's specialised library for Grand, Upright and Electrical Pianos, Harpsichords and Clavinets.

State-of-the-art sampling techniques have been put in into recording these sounds, to capture the nuances and unique characters of the instruments. You can explore from new grand pianos to detuned upright bar pianos.

The entire Nord Piano Library is included on DVDs. You can also download new additions for free on the Nord Piano Library page. Simply drag and drop files to replace sounds in your Nord Electro 4D, using the Nord Sound Manager for Mac and Windows. This keyboard has 185 MB of the memory is dedicated to Nord Piano Library sounds.

Long Release and Switchable String Resonance

The Nord Electro 4D boasts the optional Long Release feature, which is suitable for legato playing styles and has an ON/OFF button for the String Resonance (Gen 1) feature on Grand and Upright Pianos.

Nord Sample Library and Sample Editor

The Nord Electro 4D supports the Nord Sample Library, which gives you access to Nord's exclusively licensed Mellotron and Chamberlin sounds, as well as a wide selection of quality sounds from leading sample producers. There are more than 1000 sounds currently available, and the Nord Sample library has been updated on a regular basis with new additions being free to download.

The included Nord Sample Editor allows you to add any sound you want to your Electro 4D. It can use audio files in the .wav format and has great tools to assist you in getting the results you want. You can map several samples across the keyboard or create seamless loops with ease.

The Electro 4D has 68 MB of memory dedicated to samples and with efficient lossless compression algorithm, Nord can use samples up to three times the size compared to a standard linear sample player.

A Great Effect Section

Take advantage of the extensive Effect section and use the tweakable effects to give dirt, glimmer or atmosphere to your sound.

The Amp/Speaker simulation now features the same Vintage 122 Rotary Speaker simulations as found on the Nord C2D. The Electro 4D also has a flexible Stereo Delay effect with Tap-Tempo and Ping-Pong mode.

Effect 1: Pan, Tremolo, Auto-wah (stereo)

Effect 2: Phaser, Flanger and Chorus (stereo)

Delay: Stereo delay effect with Tap Tempo button and Ping-Pong mode NEW

Three band EQ with sweepable mid

Compressor/Amp: Twin, JC, Small, Rotary and Compressor

Reverb with six algorithms - Room 1 & 2, Stage 1 & 2, Hall 1 & 2

Edit and Store Presets

It's easy to change, edit and store presets and there are even 4 Live memory locations that automatically saves what you're doing. The Electro 4D's Program memory can hold 128 different Programs, which are organised in 32 Pages with 4 Programs each.

Accessible Front Panel

The interface is kept simple with dedicated knobs and buttons for all vital functions, allowing for ease of use during performance. Functions only accessible through menus are printed on the panel for easy overview.
