Finally managed to downsize my mammoth Trace Elliot rig to this much more manageable (and lightweight) setup. Thanks to a ridiculous Black Friday sale the head only cost me about £740 brand new!

Having had a quick play around I'm impressed so far and it can definitely do so much more than the stereotypical modern metal sound.

A friend picked up a Barefaced Super Compact 112 and the MT500 V1.

It’s absolutely gorgeous. She doesn’t need anything really loud and it’s easy for her to haul around.

And it sounds deadly.

How are you finding the 1 x 12 cab?

I have an Alpha Omega 500 and am looking to swap my Orange cab for either a Darkglass 2x12 or 1x12.

I’ll be using it for pub gigs, and not sure if 1x12 will be enough

I do mostly mid sized rooms here (125/175 capacity) and have never had any problems running a single 112. In the larger rooms you’re generally in the PA so you’re  really just needing stage monitor , in the mid sized rooms you’re often not in the PA so your stage sound is it for the band mix.
I have two cabs , but rarely use two unless it’s an outdoor gig.

So I haven't been gigging in ages so haven't had a chance, or need, to properly crank it. However I would think it would be more than enough for pub gigs.
