Well... If you're reading this, you'll know what you're after, but essentially about 3 months ago I bought one of these brand new from Andertons as a backup 5 string to my Yamaha.... Then I joined another band and realised I need a 4 string, and I'd just sold my Guy Pratt Betsy bass to fund a backup 5 string..........

 

So this is as new, bought, medium gauge Stadium Elites installed, truss rod tweaked, and gigged twice, practiced on for each of those gigs for a couple of hours, so you're looking at less than 10 "played" hours use.

 

As I've said, I need a 4 string so would be happy for a straight swap for a similar valued bass. Props if it's a P/J or MM type affair, and I'd prefer a passive bass but y'know how it is. Wouldnt also mind a Line 6 HX Stomp too - so if you've got one you want to trade in with some cash on top for ya, then let me know!

 

These are between £350 and £420 new at Andertons, so I'm firm at £275.

 

Collection from South Derbyshire or happy to meet half way on a trade. I'm based in South Derbyshire (Swadlincote) but work in Leicester, so anywhere around the midlands isn't too bad. I will post this if you arrange a courier - haven't got a guitar box but I'll package it safely.

I had a pair of V3 four strings. Gigged a white one with a black as back up - terrific basses with a really great preamp imo. Sold them when I moved back to fives and n all fairness I'd likely have had this passive version if I didn't need to shift a few first.

literally yesterday i was just saying if i buy another bass it needs to be a 5 string jazz
i did NOT say it had to be fender - so this is super tempting (also just put Sire on the radar as an option that i hadn't considered) shame you're about a million miles away (well clearly not a million but FAR)

If you're happy with it being posted, I can sort postage... I haven't got a guitar box but have an abundance of cardboard if function over fashion isn't a problem? Or... if you are holidaying in Scarborough this weekend? 😅
