Price is now £3500 £3000

Up for sale is my Dingwall D-Roc Custom 5 in the beautiful orange Satin Blaze. This is a Custom, meaning made in Canada, and was purchased from BassDirect back in 2020, when my custom ordered white D-Roc was nowhere in sight after a 6 month wait, and this orange one became available. I am ONLY selling this because I found a the spec I had custom ordered, but as a DBird, which of course, I had to grab. So, that means until I'm rich and famous and can have a warehouse full of these bad boys, it's got to go. This is in mint condition, not a scratch, dent, ding, or any sign of usage.

I'm in Helsinki, Finland, and happy to help coordinate in any way I can to make it as easy as possible. Happy to send more detailed pics if these aren't enough.

Brandon

@Stockholm Syndrome Not sure what you are asking, but hopefully I can answer it.

The D-Roc's control layout (showing pickup selection) is shown in the 2nd to last pic. It shows:

   1 - Bridge

   2 - Bridge/Middle Series (MM-Style)

   3 - Bridge/Neck Parallel (J-Style)

   4 - Neck

Checking my D'Bird's control layout, it appears to be different. D'Bird is listed as:
   1 - Bridge

   2 - Bridge/Middle (parallel)

   3 - Middle

4 - Bridge/Middle (parallel) in series with Neck.

So the two are different. Not sure why.

Exactly, the note in the picture describes how Dingwall usually are wired, but the D-Roc has a different switching just like you described. You answered the question perfectly. :)

Didn't realize they were set up differently, but I suppose that makes sense. And well, I'm not sure of what to make of that. Not sure if the wrong card came with the bass (either from Dingwall or while BassDirect had it), or if it was for some reason ordered this way O.o

They just simply (no pun intended) switched it up for the D-Roc to give it a unique sound from the rest of the models with three pickups. Probably the wrong card in this case. :)
