Raggy Posted May 1, 2009 Share Posted May 1, 2009 Hello, I bought one of these to fill out the sound in our 3 piece whilst the guitar is soloing or to add a bigger sound at certain points during songs. But whenever I engage the pedal, it just gets lost in the mix and I seem to lose all the guts to my sound no matter how I tweak it. Am I doing something wrong or expecting too much? High distortions and fuzzes can make your bass drop out the mix pretty easily, but if you're droppiing out at low gain grit settings then maybe you should try another pedal. I've not tried the Multidrive, but my Bad Monkey does the opposite - the tubescreamer style mid-boost really makes the bass stand out in the mix.
