Double bass 3/4 size - Musima - *WITHDRAWN*
£700
Saffron Walden- Essex

Recommended Posts

German double bass probably made in the 70’s in East Germany.
Great gigging bass, have used it a lot with a realist pickup (not included), stays in tune and amplifies well.

Had a neck repair at some point but still plays beautifully and totally stable.
Just been set up by luthier with d’addario helicore strings.
Really good condition and comes with a soft case.BB09F60D-F8FB-45F8-98D7-29A73B6375F3.thumb.jpeg.98ca65aaca5ba4b139c7f92270246347.jpeg48012297-8CE3-4762-9D29-FCE92B85EFC0.thumb.jpeg.e48f312ca6056cb47ccd799e8e5aa605.jpeg3AE0AF71-A903-440E-BB02-40B899BE5B4A.thumb.jpeg.f8047fca31d2029285d27928916589df.jpegD845DBDA-46EF-42E8-8101-76F435F6D784.thumb.jpeg.4123b549116373c2b256bce64a481fb4.jpeg2F7C41BC-167B-4EC0-BFDC-3E93A77A34AB.thumb.jpeg.3f4b3144d5d5f040f34fc82eaabb9cef.jpeg73752990-A658-4258-B42F-77051CD4C989.thumb.jpeg.7f55bc5462bdc439ad232d7717e6d953.jpegimage.thumb.jpg.dfa954ba45ecbcd5fcce543666cb0ed6.jpg

I have an early 70s Musima as my gigging bass and its built like a bricks***house. 60+ gigs a year for the last 10 years, in and out of the back of cars, vans, pickups and on one occasion a tractor, and never missed a beat.

Mine also has a neck break in the same place. It's been professionally repaired and not moved a mm in all the time I've owned it.

These are great basses for folk, blues, jazz and rockabilly. They amplify really well and can take some serious abuse.

At £700 I would buy this out of sheer principle, but I already have 3 double basses and couldn't physically fit a fourth in my house.
