Shonks Posted August 12, 2010 Share Posted August 12, 2010 I had an Alembic series II omega, almost like the Mark King bass, but without the stupid point on the the bottom. Now I have osteoarthritis - thanks Alembic. It's a heavy mother, and you cant lean it up against your amp if it has that stupid point......what's the point?? Doesn't sound as good as a Fender Jazz with new strings on it anyway!! Don't waste your money - its all hype! And another thing.....the laminates at the back of the headstock, look great, but is very weak, and I know of more than one alembic that's snapped off its headstock - ask Steve York!! and mine came unglued....!!
