I have a Cort B5 Element which I've noted the A string is quieter than the other strings when using the bridge pickup, when using the neck pickup all the strings sound the same. At a guess I think the pick up has a fault, I've been advised to take it to the shop but I'd rather have a tinker myself I'm happy to wield a soldering iron so have considered swapping the pickups over to see if it moves the fault. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? If it is the pickup I'd be looking to upgrade it I think, what would be a good choice, I find this one quite trebly.
