Rich44
I like the sound when using picks but could never get used to holding/playing with them, I just find fingerstyle far easier. I was wondering if it would be possible to use fingerpicks (the ones that slip on over the finger) on bass so that you could play fingerstyle but with a more twangy pick sound. Has anyone tried this? PS: I mean something like this: http://www.fingerstyle.com.au/images/fingerpick5.jpg

james_d
Hey, I play with a pick and I think it sounds great, I do not use fingers because of that horrible clank noise you get, it really spoiler the bass's sound. I would suggest you keep at it with a pick, it will pay off.
