This pub hit the headlines a few months ago when the landlord decided to introduce pole-dancers as an alternative to smoking. Unfortunately they don't perform on Fridays. A couple of BCers live locally and have said they are coming. On Sunday 26th August we have the second of the Chase Hospice charity gigs at the Marlborough Head, East Street, Farnham, Surrey. This should kick-off at about 2:00pm and because of an evening gig we're on at 3:00pm for an hour. The full progam of bands runs through until closing time. If you are in the area, having nothing to do on Bank Holiday Sunday and like live music then come and support this worthwhile event. There is no charge for admission but the collection bucket is passed around the audience regularly so you can donate what you can. If I manage to get the full progam I'll publish it.
