Randy_Marsh Posted February 9, 2009 Share Posted February 9, 2009 Hi guys, im currently using a Line6 Lowdown 300 Pro however this just isnt cutting it live and i think i need to branch out into a head and a cab Also i have an emg mmtw pickup on my bass, so im after the musicman kind of tone which the Line 6 doesnt deliver... tldr - should i upgrade to a head and cab? looking at an Ampeg BR head (not too expensive gear basically) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If you have transport, look at a 500 watt amp and a 4x10. If you don't need a 4x10 look at 2 1x12's.
