I got some slinkys free when I got my jazz bass but they didn't fit either so I trecked over to Brighton to change them for these, they are all they had in stock & the guy said he thought they were tapered. I obviously can't get the money back as I didn't buy them & I'm not going to be back over in Brighton for quite a while so if anyone wants them let me know! I think they are these: 350 Stainless Steel Bass Strings But I will check when I get home. They are £22.95 in GAK. I'd like £13 + p&p if anyone is interested!
