Old Horse Murphy Posted January 27, 2020 Share Posted January 27, 2020 (edited) I've always been of the mindset (perhaps wrongly) that unless they're paying me to play for/with them, then my creative input is as important as any of the other band members. Obviously if I'm a hired hand, then that's very different. Doing it for free means to me, that it should be fun, not totally prescribed by somebody else.
