fede162162 Posted January 17, 2009 Share Posted January 17, 2009 (edited) hi guys, I must ship a bass in Italy, without hardshell case,so i'm gonna split neck and body, and i need somebody who can make a good pack. in Italy I used to ask to Mail Boxes Etc, who with 6-15 euro used to make great packages!! here in London,is the best mail boxes or are there better Companies? can you give me an idea of the prices? Musky Posted January 17, 2009 Share Posted January 17, 2009 If I were you I'd get myself along to your nearest friendly guitar shop and pick up a couple of boxes that basses are shipped to them in. One triangular one and a second larger rectangular to put the first box inside. There's a thread somewhere on here about boxes people have used for shipping - I seem to remember that boxes used for bicycles and ones for plasma TVs were two solutions that other have found.
