I put a set of Elixer Polywebs on the450b & absolutely love them (zero finger drag). Elixer discontinued them & I can’t find them anywhere. I just ordered the LaBella Black Tape Wounds for the DMZ 6000 & waiting for them to arrive. Any suggestions on the closest thing to the smooth Polywebs? Sorry can't help on that one, I always worried about the extra tension on the neck as I tried some flats years ago and they seemed very tight (I was told they put a lot more tension on the neck)???? but I removed them as I never really got on with them and stick to rounds, but often feel i'm missing out not trying out different strings, hope you get sorted.
