Twanger Posted February 27, 2019 Share Posted February 27, 2019 I just caught it out of the corner of my eye as I was running for a train just before six. A three piece - guitar, bass, drums. The bass sounded astonishing for an outside pavement gig. Don't suppose anyone else happened to be in the area and catch it? Fenderjazz1 Posted February 28, 2019 Share Posted February 28, 2019 If its same 3 piece doing instrumentals as i saw last summer he was using a markbass combo not sure of speaker size. I had chat with bass player and he had it powered with golf cart battery. Amazing sound till they got shifted by city police lot. Apparently they are there as regular spot. Good pub as well. The bass was maple neck, it sounded Fendery, but not a Fender headstock. Wasn't a Markbass combo (at least not a yellow coned one) I think.
