EssentialTension Posted October 18, 2008 Share Posted October 18, 2008 My son recently became the very proud owner of Gibson Firebird V. The Gibson case for this is rather heavy and large. Ideally he'd like a gigbag for it but, with the high breakability factor of the mahogany neck/angled headstock/banjo tuners, a gigbag seems a bad idea. SKB have introduced a lighter smaller case for guitars like the Firebird (shown here with an Explorer): I just wondered if anyone had any experience of this or similar cases.
