ziggydolphinboy Posted October 15, 2008 Share Posted October 15, 2008 Hi People , recently bought a cort A4, its got hipshot light tuner pegs on it ,but the E and A string tuners rattle when i play the bass, it doesnt come through the amp but its bloody annoying ad iritating when im practising. does any one know how to tighten them up? kindest regards Ziggy. SJA Posted October 16, 2008 Share Posted October 16, 2008 (edited) tighten the nut around the post with a spanner, the post & gear with a crosshead screwdriver, or if it's the peg that's loose, you need a small allen wrench to tighten the small bolt at its base. The Burpster Posted October 17, 2008 Share Posted October 17, 2008 Yep like he said^^^^^^^ Make sure you loosen the string off or better stil remove it, oh and PLEASE use the correct size spanner/screwdriver/ allen keys as you'll be well annoyed if you make a mess....! remember they are US made so they are AF sizes not metric.
